Lack of sleep made poor decisions. Never set the ref speed +5 on final and came barreling in at over 200 kts. Tried to save it, alarms blaring but too late.

Another Dawn patrol flight.EDIT !!! - I pooched this flight already.... Duenna.. When you sync time do you have to be at your own airport? I just checked and my sim time is off by 2 hours.... BLAH!!! Goin to run it anyway.Kinda noticed when opening up the shades and it is light outside and dark in my flight :-( Romanhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/184415.jpg

Just didn't have enough coffee in me yet :-(In the real race this is not valid. But since it's practice and I did find out about it 20 mins after T/O I changed the time to the correct UTC. off by 3 (not 2 !!) hours... I donot know what the deal was... I used Duenna to sync time just before T/O and didn't touch ( nor check ) the time afterwards. It was brighter outside at home here than in MDPC-- just not right. So it was a night T/OAgain just practice -- If someone wants to overide it- go for it ;-) The flight itself sucked, 30 knots HW for the first half, 70 for the second. Long uneventful flight with good winds. I didn't get a good view of the runway til about 3 miles out , but it was a nice smooth landing even with a 9kts of crosswind. Runways very short but had room to spare. i must admit it had my heart racing a bit, but i think it was more to do with all the crashes on this leg last yearhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/184449.jpg

EP - Good to see you take a leg. Next time reply to the post at the top of the thread (where the route is laid out) That makes it easier to track and see. This is a long leg!
