Hi Gary,Looks like you have the Duenna running with Flight Simulator OK. The usual practice is to post the duenna jpg and text log file as attachements. The reason it is invalid has to do with the aircraft realism settings. Your crash tolerance was set at less than full right. I have highlighted the rows that show the problem.

I thought I had the realism setting all the way to the right but discovered it was one click short. I corrected that. But what I do not under stand is it states i was over speed by 0:0 secs SO how in gods earth is 0:0 seconds overspeed

The duenna tracks the number of seconds that your monitored flight is in an overspeed condition. Too many seconds of overspeed will result in a crash due to stress damage. 0.0 seconds of overspeed is a GOOD thing :(:) It is a good thing that the duenna tracks this as it can give you a bit of a warning if you are flying too close to the baber pole and are accumulating overspeed stress that could result in a crash and busted leg. If you check my last practice leg here:http://forums1.avsim.net/index.php?showtopic=235858You will note that I had 2 seconds of overspeed on this flight but no crash. Sudden wind shifts which are common in FSX can very quickly result in overspeed that if not promplty corrected will result in overstress and crash. One of the fastest turboprops, the Piaggio Avanti was notoriously sensative and Team AVSIM have suffered numerous stress damage crashes due to overspeed. The duenna isn't just a nanny, it is your friend.

You may remember that I dipped out of the last race, so I think that I may have missed some of the revision which the Duenna underwent for that race. I vaguely recall a discussion of some improvements to the Duenna's validation procedure, so perhaps you could bring me up to date in this regard. The Flight Log lists v.0.790 R106 as the version I'm using, so I may need to download a newer version.Could you check my last leg: TXKF - LPFL.Mike.

Hi Mike! There is a newer version of the Duenna, R144. There were some updates in the validation procedure, the Duenna sent the data directly to a server, so we didn't have to put the validation data in our baton free posts.

Thanks for the heads up Klas.I've had a look at the johannesmueller.com Duenna download site but the most recent version I could find there was v.0.801 R117 which was dated 9th Feb 08. I downloaded and installed it anyhow and I then entered my username and password into the settings dialogue, created a user and tested a validation which returned a Test Ok. But when I check the tracking site at:http://www.fsrtwrace.com/track/ListFlights...last&value=I don't see my username listed there. I've run a couple of flights to test it all but without my name appearing on the known flights list. It's all a bit of a mystery to me, but I'm sure we'll be able to sort it out before race day. :( Thanks again.Mike.

Hi Klas,Yes, I hit the Default button and got the http://www.fsrtwrace.com/track/ListFlights...last&value= URL to show. But I think I might have botched my username registration. A closer look at the registration instructions suggests that I should have specified a password only if I already had a realtime account:

In order to use the baton-server, you must specify the following information in the settings:- Username- TeamIf you have a realtime account, you can specify your password as well; it will be used to verify that the posting was effectively done by you.
I specified a password during registration and there seems to be no way to delete it. I suspect that to solve the problem I will now have to register with a modified username.I'll email Johannes to see if he can help me, or maybe someone else can shed some light on the matter. In any case it's not particularly urgent at this stage of the race.Thankyou.Mike.

Shouldn't need to take a screenshot of the Duenna image output window, it should create a .jpg image of it in the same place with the same filename as the .txt file... :)
