Hi,I stated this in another thread started by someone else to which to replied you had a problem issue. Can you access the speech application through Windows control panel? If not and you get a msg stating such as 'Windows can not start the speech engine...' then try the following.I had a similar issue in VoxATC and found I couldn't go into the text to speech and voice recognition through the control panel in Windows XP as well. I would get an error like your's in VoxATC but then I would get an error that said Windows could not start the speech engine when I went into XP speech application under the control panel. I researched it on Microsofts support sight and this is what I did:I went to the following directory and deleted the lexicon file that was under the following directory (it some how became corrupted).C:Documents and SettingstfriendApplication DataMicrosoftSpeechFilesUserLexicons(your lexicon file)After doing this I was able to open the speech app in the control panel and VoxATC worked fine for me.Hope this helps, good luck.Regards,

That is the kind of software stall that will happen when an aircraft or something in the scenery is not recognized by the program. Have you made any modifications to the default Cessna 172 and/or do you have any add-on scenery installed for this area (indicate what if you do)?Try this, after running the VoxATC indexer again... in FS2004 create a flight using one of the default aircraft with an IFR flightplan from KMCI to KOMA and save that flight. Now try to open that flight from the saved flights menu and when up and loaded try to enable VoxATC. You can also try to open the newly saved flight with the flight plan trainer also to see if that works. I think the problem might be in you not being able to use the included demo flight situations for some reason.Hope this helps,Zane
