Remember when FS2002 was first being promoted for release and the major guns of that were AI, ATC and auto gen?! Those were some big steps but also what they didnt mention was the small things that were not included in the press release like:Wheels that rollTaxiway markingSmoke on touch downDoors that openPushback featureRadios having a slaveExtra AI planesRunway lights at night getting brighter as you make straight inwater reflectionshoreline breaks and wavesaluminum reflectionsAdd to this list if you can think of any morebut what I am getting at is I believe that the next release 9.0 will be amazing. They have already announced some big improvements its the things that they don't say which is the icing on the cake. I feel they might be keeping a few aces up there sleeve like they did with fs2002. Another small item ------MS still creates the best "prop arcs" in the business. They reflect light & are nearly invisible at times. Even some of the latest & greatest 3rd party aircraft still don't get it right. Maybe it's an MS secret :)L.Adamson

Actually, opening doors and aluminium reflections were shown in a downloadable video, way before FS2002 was released. And, of course, MS was bashed because of the fact they were implementing too much 'eye-candy', according to many. Who needed opening doors and reflections?Well, the moment FS2002 was released everyone asked for reflective repaints of default and 3rd party add-on planes... :-)Anyway, did anyone notice that in the FS2004 shot of the Mooney the road textures seem to be improved? Maybe just one of those 'little things'... nice!
