Churches! Allmost every village has got at least 2 of them and they make fine horizon silhouettes. There must be a reason for ms to exclude them as there are so many famous churches out there. (usa are god-minded aren't they?)

They're probably just taking their usual USA-oriented position on stock scenery. That's not knocking them, they do what they know and see every day. Although I've seen what you mean about the magnificent churches of Europe (and they do seem to define the skyline of many a town there), the fact is that most American churches don't stand out nearly as much. I doubt you'd find many Americans that can identify or describe more than a couple of actual churches in this country. This isn't a comment on religion; more of a commentary on American architecture!

I see your point spotlobe. USA allways was best represented in relation to the rest in fs. But maybe different autogen/landclass for europe could be implemented. A hidden feature?

This can be done today. There are urban landclass textures which are almost exclusive to Europe. A good GMAX or FSDS 2 modeller just needs to create a halfway decent looking church, and assign it using the Autogen SDK to the four, maybe five textures that cover most populated areas of Europe. -John

Hi John.Unfortunately, you cannot use an object as autogen. Maybe with FS9, we'll be able to add custom shapes to autogen.Dick

Fly over downtown Salt Lake City. There's the Mormon Temple. Of course, only one of the many in the SLC area. But modeled beautifully. Eddie KSLC

you'd need to add the correct type of church and temple to every city and town worldwide.Churches come in many types, and then there are mosques, Budhist temples, Zen shrines, etc. etc. etc.
