Recommended Posts

Hi Thinking of buying the FSD Seneca V. I've looked at the pictures of it on their site and it looks very good, especially all the neat instruments inside. For those who have it, can you tell me what you think of it, and whether you'd recommend it?Cheers

Will:I love it. And if I was not at work right now I'd send you a few screenshots of a flight I took a few weeks back. For me it was worth the cash, though there are others who might not feel that way. For the life of me, I can't understand why. It's pretty to look at, flies smoothly, and has a cool, very detailed virtual cockpit view. Go get it.Alex ChristoffN562ZMinneapolis, MNThermobulb@aol.com

It is well worth it. My flight sim would not be the same with out it. The sounds are cool, the textures are awsome, the gauges are terrific. No complaints.

A great plane to have if you have any interest in GA twins! The Seneca has a great flight model and gmax visual model. It flies very smooth and nice. A joy to fly.

Beautiful desing and wonderful handling! One warning, it taxes my antique system quite a bit (as do many complex add-ons). I'm running a PIII-1GHz, 512MB PC100 RAM, 32MB GF2 GTS. While I can fly it very smoothly and enjoy it immensly, with anything less than the equivalent to my system, I'd say it'd be fairly rough.Dave

Although I'm spending some time with the Meridian now, the Seneca V has been my default aircraft for the past few months. Too many pluses to mention--the only detractors for me were finding the right eyelevel in the VC mode and the fact that the visibility is somewhat limited due to the wings/engines. It's a very nice plane! SteveJ.
