Mark,Yes - I have the highly polished chrome look on your latest repaints. My card is an nvidia Geforce 7800GT. They look great, but perhaps a tad unrealistic...

Sheeesh, what a nightmare. I have never heard of such differences between cards before. If that is what it is. The worst thing is, I can't even set it up properly for the likes of yourselves and others who see 'chrome' as I cannot see it myself on my GeForce4. What to do?Upgrade, I suppose. This is enough to put me off painting, though. Mark,I have PaintShop Pro v9 so if you want to send me one file I could try and alter the alpha channel and send you a screen shot of the results?

Thanks, Graeme. You can take an alpha from any of my Tristar downloads and give it a go if you wish. I can easily change all my alphas to the usual setting I'd use for bare metal, but my problem is I would not see any change here, I think.It's weird, only seems to happen with this aircraft.
