What are the best Gmax fighter aircraft available?

I saw a pic of a great F14 with some of the coolest afterburner effects around.I like all types from all manufactures.Anyone have any good reccomendations?Thanks folks.

HiI really like the FSD T-38 Talon and it`s freeware right here in the Avsim Library.It`s not a fighter but but it`s a real burner.There are plenty of repaints for it as well.

I know they are not GMAX, but Kirk Olsson makes some great military aircraft. Search by his name in the Avsim file library. They look and fly great. I can't tell you if their performance is accurate, but they feel good and are fun to fly.If you don't mind payware, the new Tornado from Lago is outstanding. The famous Rob Young has been working on the flight models. The visual detail is outstanding, and there are some great animations, such as opening canopies, reverse buckets, wing sweep, refueling probe and so on. There is also an virtual cockpit. It even includes a air-to-air refueling module that will work with any FS2002 aircraft.Tony

If you don't mind payware the new Tornado! by LAGO is AWESOME!!!!Totally GMAX, bunch of different models, 10 different paint schemes (more coming soon from a couple of repainters and myself), mid-air refueling, all the GMAX animations, etc.. etc..It is $27 but it is the best money ever spent on an aircraft for FS002!!!! I really like airliners too.....but there is just something about ripping along at 250ft at 750knts! Not to mention the guys over at LAGO are really responsive to the community and actually care about there customers (not that the others don't) it has just been in my experience that LAGO has been extra helpful!Go check it out at LAGOs website, you won't be disappointed!Shane

Captain Sim has a SWEET Mig-21. I love it - I usually fly turbo props and occasionally a biz jet. But this thing is INSANELY fast!Of course, the recently released Tornado does look pretty nice and something I might purchase as well.

There is an awesome Fouga Magistre available on this site. I really like Milan Lisners' L-29, even though it's not G-max. There is also a really nice G-Max or FSDS2 F-15 that is available in several repaints.
