ATC and AI SEPARATION

Recommended Posts

Guest

I want to know if there is a way to keep planes further apart on approach/final.If I have too many planes landing in the same period of time there are multiple GO Arounds and I usually land right behind an incoming plane or I have to execute a TO/GA myself. Is there a parameter in the FS2002 cfg file that might be changed to accomodate high traffic, which would force further separation between aircraft??? I would also like to know if there is an AFCAD file for the SimFlyers KATL that uses both parallels eg 8R & 8L for approach and 9L & 9R for T/O/Thanks

1. Nope, but lowering your AI Traffic %age may help.2. Using AFCAD you can manually set runways for T/O and landings.

I know lowering the AI traffic % will help but there must of been some forethought from MS that we would adjust the AI traffic to enhance our flying experiences. I thought there was a way to adjust the spacing of a/c without reducing the net AI %.
