FMC - autofill V Ref etc with FS2Crew installed

Recommended Posts

Hi - I have noticed that since installing FS2Crew toe PMDG FMC can no longer 'autofill' the calculations forV1, V2 etc on the 'Takeoff' page. This seems to be the case - even if FS2Crew has not been configured for a particular flight. Is this normal - or a minor bug? Any suggestions for how to work around problem when FS2Crew not being used for a particular flight?ThanksSimon Longstaff

Hello Simon,FS2Crew does not write to (or read) any PMDG 737 FMC items, so FS2Crew is not the culprit on this one.No one else has reported it, and I've never experienced it, so the probem must be local on your machine. Are you sure you entered the Flap Setting on the Takeoff Page?If you don't enter the flap setting, V1, VR, V2 will not autofill.Cheers,Bryan

Thanks for the responses. Flaps setting has been entered in FMC - but problem remains. However, looks like the problem might lie on my machine. Have also noticed truly bizarre calculations in the FMC re. speed constraints etc - so perhpas there is a larger issue for me to solve.RegardsSimon Longstaff

Can I just check what you mean by 'autofill'? I ask because in my PMDG 737 after entering all the relevent data into the FMC (including flaps and runway), I have to click the LSK's next to V1 VR V2 for the speeds to be automatically calculated and entered, they don't autofill as such (just by entering the data), you HAVE to click the LSK's, or is this what you meant by 'autofill'?CheersGraham

Did you by any chance inadvertently change the setup (or changed the style in the PMDG menu) from pounds to kilos? The aircraft weights are then doubled. This will of course result in strange parameters in the FMC.RegardsWillem
