Alphasim FSX Blackhawk review

HiI just can't understand when you state the blackhawk flies pretty well. I've just tried it in FSX and i'm really disappointed as it is nearly uncontrollable. I guess that you just tested it in FS9, not FSX. This chopper is way below par, say the Aerosoft Navyhawk and Jayhawk, even though the skins are very pleasant to see.Unfortunately, this bird flies more like a drunk flying saucer .

You may want to look around for an alternate FDE package. I'm currently using the FDE package from a Blackhawk I found over at Hover Control's website. The original Alphasim FDE is horrible.

gnouze,I'm sorry to hear your Blackhawk is not working well for you. So far the Alphasim Blackhawk for FSX is one of the smoothest flying helicopters I have. It took me a long time to decide to buy it because the SH-3 Sea King I used in FS9 was challenged in a lot of ways. So far I can only base this on real world Bell JetRanger flying, but this model of the Blackhawk gives me the impression that I am controlling a much bigger aircraft with a lot of built-in stabilization than the Bell 206. Perhaps the fde for some of the freeware H-60s might help, or adjusting the realism control settings in the flight sim menu too. I wish I had better advice for you.Keith

While comparing Aerosoft Seahawk with the Alphasim Blackhawk can anyone tell me why the sound sets are extremely different between these two packages? Keith
