Recommended Posts

Great looking aircraft. Can someone help me out with a problem I'm having?Using SPOT view, I notice that the tail textures become blurred.Zooming in and then out again fixes the problem, but the tail textures soon become blurred again.Display options for aircraft are maxed out.Any ideas please?Dell 8200 1.7 mhz.19" Trinitron Monitor512 mb RAM60 gb Hard DiskGeForce 3 Graphics CardTurtle Beach Santa Cruz AudioCH Flightsim Yoke and Rudder pedals (USB)Optical MS Mouse

You have this problem because of the mimaps level. It's easy to fix this:1) Open imagetool. It's a program that comes with fs2002.2) open the texture file (in your case, the file is 777Tail_T.bmp)

Here, the mip level is 11, I think it's the maximum mip level I think...3)Then go to Image, then click on "extract mipmaps"this is what you get:

4) Find the file called "777Tail_T_0.bmp", this file has only 1 mipmap level, so in flightsim the tail can't get blurry.5) Save this file as "777Tail_T.bmp" in the texture folder of your aircraft.6) That's it ! now your tail texture has only one mipmap level and shouldn't be blurry any more.../)_/). _ Cl

I didn't have to do that. Is this the default livery or is it just the aircraft itself...?
