Need basic weather help

I'm trying my best to figure out the myriad of functions that the weather system here in FS2002 has. I want to have a full-overcast sky that doesn't have the 'horizon line' that's seen in the picture below, and doesn't turn into a complete white-out after I'm above 200 ft. I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but a quick glance at the pictures on the box show a plane flying during a thunderstorm with fairly distant visibility.Any help is always appreciated.Scott

The 'horizon line' in the picture is just the way that FS generates clouds. In order to save performance they limited how far you can see the clouds. Changing the overall visibility to less than 10 miles helps. Seems like to me most of the time you can't see past 20 miles in real life anyway.If you are getting 'white out' at 200 ft you must have your clouds at a low level. You can raise the cloud level when you choose the 'advanced weather' options. Overcast clouds will always give you a complete white out until you pop out of the top of the layer. In the advanced weather options you can also choose 6/8 or 7/8 cloud cover as opposed to full overcast, not quite so much white out.
