Bird strike scenario while paused

Recommended Posts

Guest DieterA

Hi Bryan,Congratulations on the release... I just finished the first tutorial flight and all I can say is Wow! Very impressive.I do have a question, if you don't mind...I paused the sim just after take off, so I could read up on the next set of instructions. While paused, about 800ft from the ground, I encountered the bird strike scenario. Is there any way you can prevent that from happening while in pause mode? Congrats once again,Dieter

I believe the only way to stop the FS2CREW logic and actions moving on is to press the bottom right clock button which causes FS2CREW to pause. They are both somewhat independent, so if you pause the sim you should also pause the FS2CREW.Let us know if this solves your problem.CheersDom

Hello Dieter,Thank you for the kind words. There is a pause button, but it only applies to pre-departure events. It's not currently tied to the bird strike or other possible situations you can get such as the Air Rage or Sick Pax scenerio.Danke,Bryan

And mind you - with the recent onset of Bird Flu it is not that unlikely that you get fainting swan hitting your windscreen while doing your preflight...Cheers,Dom
