Some words I can't hear

Recommended Posts

Hi all,Forgive my poor English, but there are some words I cannot hear accurately and so I need your help.In the before start checklist, after the captain read V1, Vr, did he say 'enter V2' or anything ? What does it mean ? Then, he said 'plus 20 give.......', did he mean V2 plus 20 ? I was at EDDF. Then, he said something '370 bug for 130 ???(a word I cannot hear, something like air....), we are set for a 'deviated take off'. What is that 130 ? Can anyone give me a full senetence of what he said and what does that 130 refer to? Then, finally, when the captain handed over the plane to the engineer, he said the flight was great, '???? guy, tail wind, sweat machine, absolutely no ????'. Can anyone help ? Thanks !RegardDanielVHHH

Hello Daneil,Bugs are recited round the dial from V1 up, followed by the EFFRA (Engine faiure flap retraction altitude) on the altimeter, then the take off power settings so an example would be:"151, 162, 165 inner bug. Plus twenty gives me 181, 201,221, 241. (These are the flap bugs for flap 15. Flap 5 misses out the +20) 250' bugged for 1250 EFFRA. We're set for a full thrust takeoff/ or we're set for a de-rated thrust takeoff".*165 in the example is V2.For the last one he's saying "No Snags".Hope that helps,You can listen to the wavs individually in Sounds/FS2Crew/767 if you want to play them over and over again. All the best,Bryan
