I'll let Bryan comment on this, but the Reason the PMDG model is the way it is, is because of a lack of an SDK from PMDG. Because he had a LevelD one, he was able to accomplish much more.

Hi Werner,The ATR and 767 Editions of FS2Crew are similar in terms of interface style, but the ATR is a very different plane from the highly automated 767, so in a sense it's hard to compare them.I would say the ATR Edition is perhaps more challenging than the 767 Edition simply owing to the complexity of the ATR itself, and of turbo props in general (no automation, more levers and buttons, etc.) For the ATR Edition I modelled the SOPs used by a Eastern European ATR operator, and some of their procedures are pretty complex.I could update the PMDG version to use the Main and Secondary Button system, but it would require a complete re-write of the code. The other factor is there is no SDK for the PMDG 737 (whereas for the ATR and Level D versions I had one), so in that sense there isn't too much more I can do with the PMDG 737 version other than using the Main/Secondary button system. We'll see what PMDG does with the 737 after FSX.Cheers,Bryan

Hi Bryan, thanks for your answer.Hm... well i take the ATR for short haul flights like Norway or French Polynesia, and will take the 767 for longer flights. I love the PMDG 737 but it

Despite the absence of an SDK? Or is that a fault PMDG have remedied with the 747?I don't want you to tire yourself out until the Level D 757 comes out, you see?

In spite of the absence of an SDK from PMDG, I can still create a version that works fairly well. It will retain the same Main/Secondary Interface and Menu method you see in the 767 and ATR Editions. However, users will likely have to input certain values themselves that cannot be read directly out of the aircraft.Cheers,Bryan
