Fs2Crew LDS 767 and Aerosoft AES

Recommended Posts

Hi, I was just wandering is it possible to use the AES pushback instead of the Fs2Crew one? If yes, how does it work?

Or, if you want to have the FS2Crew Pushback dialogues, I suggest you select P/B Required on the Departure Brefing Page. When you hit the nose gear light so that the pushback options appear, just enter angle 0

Would this not cause you to have both which is sort of unwanted too?Another option:Let the dude on the right seat ask for clearance, don't touch the nose gear light and then push away using the AES system. FS2Crew will go into taxi mode out of pushback mode once the after start list is done, IF I remember correctly :-)

I suggest Bryan's option one.So select no in the briefing for the pushback required. Then hit the landing lights to call up the start up dialoge, call for the startStart the AES push back process, and then disconnect after the AES pushback is completed. This gives you the best and most complete set of sounds for the pushback process.Chris

Well, this thread is really old, but since there are some new discussions about that...What I do is simply don't touch the Landing Light (you call the FS2CREW pushback with it, as far as I can remember). Anything else is just normal procedure. So it's very simple. With the 747 Version (PMDG) it's a little bit more tricky since, there is the last call (FS2CREW) between the PIC and ground (main button after pushback) which kind of interferes with the AES talking logic (PIC again says goodbay to ground, AES said already bye bye some moments ago). But these are details.@byork: you should give AES a try. It's really nice.Regards,Roger

I've heard AES is great.Current and subsequence versions of FS2Crew (like the MD-11) feature a pushback crew that is totally optional and independent of the simulation, so you can use AES if desired with no adverse interference.Cheers,Bryan
