Electrics problem even after patch 3

Recommended Posts

Guest Bill Yiannakos

Starting this message, I would sincerly like to thank the team who gave us this wonderful sequence to this very beautiful project! :-wave I initially installed the main file with the 2nd patch. After some time of flying, I found it behaving very well. When I landed and tried to shut down the aircraft, I realised that I had a problem with the batteries.Even when I disconect all the electrical equipment AND turn off the battery switch, the aircraft continues to be fed with electricity!!With all generators off, external power off, APU off and battery switch off, the electrical equipment continues to funtion and the voltage meter continues to show current from the battery!!I tried to disable the option "extend battery life" from FSUIPC but the problem insists and -furthermore- after some time of flying I lost all electrical instruments (altimeter, VSI, ADI etc) even I had the generators and TRUs running....I installed the 3rd patch and the problem insists.I have a registered copy of FSUIPC...Any ideas? :-hmmm ---------------Bill Yiannakos

As with any other add-on, you should start with a default Cessna with the batteries, alternator, and avionics switches all ON, then switch to the TinMouse. You can then save that situation as a new flight, and the initial settings should be OK.Right now some items do remain powered even with everything switched off. I have considerably more work to do in the electrical system before I can change that.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile

If I switch off the battery, the aircraft is powered down, same goes for the generators etc.
