Greetings,Congratulations to those involved in the Timouse II project. The panel is excellent, although I sure would like to know more about the gauges and switches which are available. It would be nice to place the mouse cursor over a gauge or switch and get identification.Now to the subject of this post; I was getting what sounded like an alarm (which became annoying) when using the Overhead Lower panel or when using a second window (new view or top down view). I got the same sound anytime the sim was paused for any reason.After extensive troubleshooting, I eliminated the undesirable sound by "commenting out" two items in the sound.cfg file, explicitly; [sTALL_WARNING] and [OVERSPEED_WARNING_SOUND]. I am only commenting on my experience; and not recommending this action for others. I ex-perenced another sound which I didn't want (sounded like a cricket chirp) and eliminated by renaming a *.wav file.

Sounds like the cabin altitude warning horn. Will come on if the press panel is not set properly and/or the AC packs are left off after takeoff. See the FAQ for this one. Q 4 & 5The cricket is the overspeed warning.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile

Thanks Bob,Since I posted, I re-installed the Aircraft folders and the pamel.B732ADV folder, ran the patches, etc. I renamed the .CO and .DL texture folders to match the respective aircraft selection. I disabled the rp732400hz.wav file which cleared the "cricket" sound. I didn't make any changes to the sound.cfg file this time. Go figure!!I noticed a red bar across the digital display of the altitude gauge and don't know how to clear that. If I remember correctly, I didn't have that at an earlier time. Except for that, everything is fine.I really am favorably impressed with this addition to my aircraft folder. In time, I hope to master the operation of this aircraft, but I will need much advice from you and others.Thanks again,

I also have that strange sound anomaly after patch 3. Suddenly appears even on the ground with APU on during the INS align waiting time. APU Bleed On/off, Packs on/off doesn't change anything. At first a crackling sound in the main panel view. When switching to a side view, I get sound dropout for a few seconds, then the same sound, but continuous (appears to be rp732_continuous_horn.wav). I went back to patch 2, doesn't happen there.Same procedure for setup. After installation of the 732, I start FS and load the Cessna, then 732, then I save that flight.Mike

Hi Mike,I've got this sound problem once as well. Same situation as you. The only way to stop it was clicking on the "ALT Horn cutout" switch on the overhead. Cheers,Daniel

Oh, thanks Daniel, have overseen that Horn cutout. Still would be interesting to know what causes it, maybe has to do with the panel state after starting with the saved flight ?Mike

I start all my Tinmouse 737 flights with the Cessna, switch off the engine and let the battery and the avionics running to make sure the panel initializes correctly. However, the sound problem still happens and as you correctly stated, it began with Patch 3. I guess it's a bug but if I find a workaround, I'll post it here.Regards,Daniel

Looks like there may be an issue with the pressurization init sequence. If you haven't opened the doors while on the ground, open them then close to reset the pressurization. Second, possibly try going from auto to standby back to auto.As a last resort you can use the cabin alt warning cutout switch to shut it off.Bob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile

Bob,indeed interesting to look at the cabin gauges. I attach two screenshots, one is one minute after loading, all looks normal. Then I'm just waiting for INS alignment (APU running, APU Bleed On, one pack on) and observed the cabin gauges, which suddenly began to move after around 3-4 minutes. Second screenshot is 5 mins after loading the plane. Also note the manual : valve gauge, has moved to the right ??A minute or two later the warning sound comes up. This is of course still on the ground, open/close doors doesn't change anything.I don't notice anything unusual what could trigger it. Just ASV6 is active in the background, could a pressure change cause this ? Good catch Mike. I also use AS6 for all my flights and tried now a startup using the default FS9 weather. This time everything worked without any glitch. Probably the sudden pressure change as AS6 sets the weather is what's causing it.

The two sections were [GEAR_UP_WARNING_SOUND] and [sTALL_WARNING]. The sound, which was so annoying, was the same sound that I would get on Approach after extending the Flaps before the Landing Gear.
