Flaps configuration

Hi, How can I know what flap setting do I need to Take off?This is because I saw in some times used flaps 1 and other times flaps 5 in the same Airport (real life). So I figure that must be a table or similar to get the correct set.Thaks a lotJulio

For higher ATOW, long runway, use Flap 1. Best climb segment.If you aren't near you MTOW, use flaps 5. Your climb segment will not limit your ATOW.but since you do not have a runway analysis, do not assume OAT.always use MAX EPR for your OAT.regards.

Flaps 15.but Flaps 15 you will need to reduce you ATOW to do not suffer in climb segment.Short Runway (TORA > 2000m) flaps 15, ATOW at or bellow 105,000lbs.
