fuel flow gauge

hi,i'm a bit ashamed but today i noticed wy my fuelflow-pitch-speed tables didn't work out .. the gauge is not in kgs/hr .. would it be a lot of trouble to convert the gauge to kgs/hr ??Jan

convert in the rule of thumb.2.2 lbs ~= 1 kg

that's what i've been doing now, and the position of the needle is about the same as on the kgs/hr so that helps as well ..

the problem is:the gauge is coded and have the bitmaps made only for poundsyes, you can set your weights in kg (metric system), but when operating the aircraft, you will just need to set your brain to made this calculation.

would a high res picture of the fuel flow gauge in kgs/hr be of any help?? maybe for a future version or so?

Send me the pix and I'll take a look at it. No promises, though.But...it doesn't make a lot of sense to have the FF in kilos and the fuel quantities in lbs...so I'll need good photos of both the fuel flow and fuel quantity gauges.CheersBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile

i think is a lot faster to convert the tables from kg to pounds.regards alex

Just finished coding the metric fuel gauge option. In V1.1, placing "KGS" into the aircraft.cfg title= line will automatically change the fuel flow and qty gauges to metric.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile

Jan; Yes...need pix of the gear/hydraulic panel, and the cabin press and rate gauges on the OHP. Good close-ups from straight on if it's possible. Also need some pix of a Sperry 177 autopilot panel and its associated status light panel.
