FF guages are iffy....

I tried the panel with a R/W flt plan and found the fuel wasn't burning enough. So I set the FF at 3000PPH/eng and timed how long it would take to burn 2000lbs (20mins). It actually took 26mins. I'll time some more but it looks like the needle on the guage indicate higher than actual.Greg

Its a guage problem though not an engine problem....Greg

OK...it's a bug, and a bad one in that it turns out the 18 Hz tick counter internal to FS isn't ticking at a constant 18Hz...in fact most of the time there are 19-21 ticks per second, which was throwing the math off in the panel's fuel routines.I've extensively reprogrammed the fuel system, and it's now based on a clock timer rather than the internal ticker, and seems to be squared away.
