Lion Air I am Confused

I was found a web site yesterday that was about an airline called Lion Air, it looked just like any other airlines website. It said that they were in negotiations with EDDF's officials about running their airline their and the were listing all these people who they were talking to at British Airways and KLM, deals and passenger bookings, fares, destinations etc etc... They even said that they were recruting cabin staff and engineers.However at the bottom of the page it said in tiny lettersWARNING: WE ARE A VIRTUAL AIRLINE WE CANNOT ACCEPT PASSENGER BOOKINGSWhat on earth is that all about????? A virtual airline is a hobby for flight simulator pilots. You can sign on as a pilot and then fly routes for the 'airline'. How much fun this actually is depends on the other people involved. With the right group, it can be a fun way to some context to flying in FS. The better VA's also have good training and checkride programs which can add some challenge and learning opportunities.

Hey Davi, yes a virtual airline is basically a group of FS enthusiasts that emulate the actions and operations of a real airline or make one up along the same real world guidelines as the real one.
