just a few minor things

perhaps for update 2?1. instead of having the ACARS pre-dep clearance give the same transponder code every time, could you have it create a random transponder code (for us non-vatsimmers)2. during the take-off procedures, the FO turns on the landing light but does not turn off the taxi light (which the CAPT has turned on at beginning of taxi)...can you have him turn off the taxi light?3. in LDS the FO would tell you if certain things had not been set properly, like the speedbrakes before landing....can that be done for 747 or not without SDK?Thanks Bryan!

You're welcome!1. I could create a semi-random Xponder code for Update 2.2. I don't think the taxi light should be shut off. I'll double check with Cowpatz.3. The speedbrake position is something that I can read through the MS SDKs. So yes if you forget to arm the speedbrake, it will show in the Landing checklist.Chrs,Bryan

Hi Bryan,Adding to this, can the autobrake position be read? If you forget to set the autobrake, the captain still reads back as though it is set. RegardsRoss

The taxy light is not required to be turned off during the TO procedure. It is left on. It will extinguish when retracted. The switch is turned off when the main lights are turned off at 10000ft.Regarding the auto brake as mentioned above you still need to confirm the position of the autobrake setting before responding to the checklist item. This is the whole reason for having a checklist in the first place....to pick up errors. In this case it is simple you just need to look at the EICAS screen and it will tell you. CheersSteve
