AI Planes

Recommended Posts

Guest ront1

HI Guys, I see that a lot of you guys are using planes from real airlines (Delta, Southwest etc...) at your airports instead of the standard ones that came with FS2K2. How are you using these and what files or programs are you using? Thanks for any help.Ron

Thanks Mike, I took a look at the site you suggested. Is it as complicated to use as it first appears?Ron

Ron, Not hard at all. Read all of the Project AI tutorials. I went from the default AI to having over 135,000 flight plans of real airlines in two weeks. Now, when I depart KIAH I'm usually behind at least 10 Continental birds and they're all using the real call signs and flight numbers. Project AI, along with FSPainter and AI Aardvark, produce awsome AI aircraft with hardly a frame rate hit. I'm running 66% AI on FSATC with all my sliders full right and get about 6-12 fps -- and I only have an AMD 900 MHz machine with 640 Mb of 133 MHz RAM. Give it a try. Use the autoinstallers. They work really well.Steve KCLE
