Hallo all,its my first time i post here, but is also first time i cant find solution to my problem.I have brend new PC where i installed FS9 and all the add ons i previously had in old PC.I fly from LIPK to LOWW with either F1 ATR42 or PSS DASH 8 and everytime i reach waypoint DOL, FS9 crash to desktop. I have no error message. I'm suddenly to desktop just like i never opened FS or any other prgram.I made some tests and i realized that this happen also with default aircrafts.I have only default mesh and textures installed.I already brawsed this forum and saw that other people had similar problem, but the solution that worked for them (older FSUIPC reistallation, 9.1 patch, add ons reinstalladion...etc) didnt work for me.Thanks in advance for any kind of help :)Alessandro CasadioItaly

Hi,2 possibilities I'm thinking:1: The problem with multiple Afcad files. From FsPassengers forum:Somehow, FS doesn't like a lot of things that we tend to do with it particularily, with the add-on sceneries and their updates and fancy panels. In my case, it turns out that most of the problems came from duplicate AFCAD files. These will crash FS straight to desktop without any error report even so, many hundereds of miles away from the area you are flying. To scan your AFCAD files, download the following tool: "scanafd 1.0" from, http://www.avsim.com/ . search for "scanafd.zip". When you run it check the box, "show duplicates" in the left window you will see a list of duplicate AFCAD files you have and on the right the details of each duplicate files; name size ect. choose the one you want to keep and, delete the others. You will find that scanning the whole default scenery is not required unless you have added files there yourself. 2: The problem with the Terrain.cfg file. From FsPassengers forum:My conclusion was, it must have to do something with the textures. A little research at http://forums.avsim.net/ gave the easy and finally working solution.Simply loading Terrain.cfg to notepad and replace allMaskClassMap=1 to MaskClassMap=0and allMaskClassMap=3 to MaskClassMap=0Have personally never had the Afcad problem but once downloaded the alternative Terrain.cfg (have attached file). Might be good to try (although please make the backup of the original Terrain.cfg before the replacement).Pierrehttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/165590.zip

If you are using an external ATC program (i.e. Radar Contact, SquawkBox) you need RemoveATC=Yes in your FSUIPC.ini file to kill a very nasty bug with atc.dll that causes CTDs.Also, bad textures in AI aircraft can cause this problem.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile
