FSX Crashing/hanging at startup

Hi,The problem is a simple yet annoying one - basically FSX doesn't get past the splash screen. I did recently install some World of AI packages and FSInn & FSCopilot. I've uninstalled those now to see if that was the problem, and yet FSX still failing to get past the splash screen. So then I tried a "repair" install using the original DVDs, and to no avail. Would appreciate any help on this matter.My computer specs - if at all helpful:AMD64 4400+ X2 WinXPSP2Nvidia 7800 GTX 512mbIf there's any other info required to diagnose the problem please ask, and I'll try my best to supply you with the information.Thanks.Regards,Sul

Hi,A follow-up: I've managed to fix this, seems like the logbook.bin file was corrupted.. all I had to do was remove it and it started up.. phew.. :)Solution originally found here: http://www.sstsim.com/forums/index.php?sho...threaded&start=
