FS9 re-initialized after FS-X installed

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ran into anything like this?Running XP/Sp2. Bought a SATA drive, formatted as F:, installed FSX on F:Existing FS9 install is in the default path on c: (11/16/2005)First launch of FS9 after having installed FSX saw a total reread of my scenery (took about 3 minutes) and lost my ActiveCamera registration (re-registered with same purchased key).I have three separate "MY Flightsim files." folders in My Docs (FS9, FSX Demo and FSX).Just curious. It appears everything is there.Thanks.Jim Donlin

Just curious, was this the first time you ran FS9 after the daylight savings time change? If I remember correctly FS will rebuild the scenery files after the switch. Not sure why it would affect Active Camera though.Bud

I had that happen also. FSX is off my hard drive now until I get hardware to keep up with it.

I noticed this happened to me as well. I was like ...huh? #####? I didn't touch FS9 did I ?? Nothing sinister appears to have happened though. Both work well.
