Can autogen scenery be set to be seen from farther away?

Is there a setting to force autogen to fill the autogen scenery from a greater distance? I would like to see autogen farther away. My best view of scenery now is looking down to see the scenery closer to my aircraft.Jim Wight

Jim,I assume you're running FS v9.1If you replace the v9.1 Generic.bgl with the 9.0 version in the SceneryGenericScenery folder it will display AG slightly farther away.I had mine set this way for a while but set it back to the 9.1 version for FPS reasons.I don't know if the 9.0 version would reintroduce the 'autogen does not release' issue. It might.
