realityxp GNS530?? how to question

Recommended Posts

I have this product which came bundled in my Meridan addon. As such, I cannot gain support for this instrument from the RXP website and they do not offer a forum.I have reviewed the entire manual and the Garmin manual itself. However I am unable to determine exactly how to do a simple thing.I want to change the map settings to display roads. I go the map settings menu and select the display ranges that I want to see these items at. However, once you have made your choices, exactly what button do you press to 'accept' these changes? I have tried every possible combination that I can think of. Then 'ENT' key only will continue to cycle through the choices.Anyone, please, a step by step or an exact reference to a manual page.I am on the MAP page and I have cycled thru all the declutter options and have page 36 of the Garmint User Manual (from Garman) right in front of me.In other words, how does one specifically get the 'map setup menu' off the screen once the map setting have been selected??very frustrating, been working on this all morning.

Hello,First, on the RXP website they have a support forum:http://www.reality-xp.com/community/users.htmThe picture is a link to here:http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_topics.asp?FID=12The ENT key should work to accept changes... But I don't know if the bundled products are complete like the products you can buy at Reality-XP. I bought them seperatly to be able to add the gauges to other aircrafts:http://isomba.airlines.online.fr/isopictures/gns.jpghttp://isomba.airlines.online.fr/isopictures/col03.jpgBest regards.

thank I will give it a go. I think my internet cache was old or somthing. When I refresed the page I then saw the forum link. I tried to email them from the support page but they needed a 'gauge certification' number. My guage was bundled so I was not sure where or what that was.thanks for the link, I posted up there.

Go to the Garmin web page and pull down there pilot ops manual. For the most part, the real GN530 and the sim version track the Garmin ops manual. Also, if you sign up with AOPA they offer an on-line GPS IFR/VFR training course. Also, with your sign up you can pull down for two free FS9 models.Tom
