In your FS9 graphics settings menu, you will see a check box that says "use dawn/dusk texture blending" or something to that effect.Check that it IS checked.

Seems like an Nvidia driver issue. Had the same problem until I changed the drivers on my old 6600GT. Dogdog,I'm no expert at this but it looks like the same image no matter what view you are in (the dark area that is). I know you wouldn't want to, but you might have to re-install your FS9.

Dogdog, I know this is going to sound wierd, very wierd. But I was noticing that the image in your FS looks alot like the horizon image on your sig. Like if you look at the bottom of the two screenshots to the left, there is the same outline as your signature emblem, just that it has been cropped just above the horizon line. I know that it can't be anything to do with that, but I just noticed it.
