November 27, 200619 yr Hi all,Those of you who have enjoyed my "Half Moon Bay" high resolution scenery and my "San Francisco" standard resolution scenery might enjoy my latest "San Francisco Intl." hi-res airport area scenery as well. It's available here at AVSIM:http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID...scen&DLID=94160This scenery makes me kind of nostalgic, because that's the area where I first successfully tried my hi-res mesh technique for FS2004. Coverage is the area around SFO containing the San Bruno Mountain Park and the San Adreas Res. So it's quiet a sight!Resolution is 1.2m/pix - which is standard FSX resolution available in FS2004.Won't work in FSX. For FSX please wait for the upcoming FSX-version of this scenery.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/162223.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/162224.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/162225.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/162226.jpgFor a complete list of titles visit us at http://www.blueskyscenery.comCheers --------------------------- Blue Skies, Gottfried www.blueskyscenery.com
November 27, 200619 yr Darn! It looks great, but one question though which bugs me from the beginning I saw your sceneries. Is it compatible with Megascenery. i.e. is it just a scenery layer with a higher priority which will align well with the Megascenery stuff? And your SF scenery will it be compatiblwe with Fly Tampa's San Fran airport?Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://fool.exler.ru/sm/fly2.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. November 27, 200619 yr Author With Megascenery it's simple. Put the hi-res overlays on a layer with higher priority and it should work. With airport sceneries it's a different story. You have to try it out. If it doesn't work, disable my scenery. I haven't heard of any permanent damage that has been done... --------------------------- Blue Skies, Gottfried www.blueskyscenery.com
November 27, 200619 yr Thanks! I will try it.Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://fool.exler.ru/sm/fly2.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. To go down, pull the stick back harder"
November 28, 200619 yr Hello Gottfried,This is great work. I have both MegaScenery and Horizon VFR San Fran and Horzion is in a class above MegaScenery.I doubt we will see Horizon doing anymore California PR Scenery and it would be great if you could do the whole state of CA, NV, AZ, and OR.I don't know what's envolved, but once you fly with PR scenery the rest doesn't even come close. Thanks for all your hard work and giving us this very well done scenery.Ed
November 30, 200619 yr To make it look good the SFO2006_HR has higher scenery priority than the Fly Tampa airport. SFO MegaCity has lower priority than Fly Tampa.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/162356.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/162357.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/162358.jpg
