There is an A.I Traffic Mover for FS9. I think it is called 2.0a, and was released as a beta, but it works fine for me and I haven't found anything beter.scott s..

Roger on the tips. I can't imagine people cranking out all these AI flight plans (look at all the new additions here every day at the Avism Library) are using AITM. Guess it comes down to another of those well kept secrets. One just has to figure it out the hard way. I've been to the sites you suggest. There's nothing there. And AISmooth is a totally different animal. AIAmooth has nothing to do with creating flight plans. And it has a considerable number of comments that it is quite buggy. But even if it was not buggy, who wants to watch planes zoom around in a holding pattern with the landing gears extended. thank you.........

Hi,Most airline flight plans these days are compiled from airline data using the MRAI Compiler, available at www.fsalliance.net (File Library/Downloads, Flightsim Tools). This takes airline timetable data (or you can enter it yourself into Excel or Wordpad) and compiles it into TTools source files.AITM is very useful for editing/improving these compiled files, or creating your own traffic without timetable data.Hope this helps,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

In regard to my original post, I wonder why nobody bothered to suggestAI SCHEDULEhttp://rudh.mine.nu/AIScheduleas an alternative to the cumbersome A.I.T.M?(an FS2002 program, never designed to be used with FS9)This is a dandy little program. Guess the readers here at Avsim Forum are not very well informed, having never heard of this program. And if that's not the case, then the informed readers who read my post, and were quite aware of AI Schedule, simply opted not to say anything. Doesn't seem very friendly, either way. Well, we found it. Solving another problem, the hard way, the same way any good doggie finds that bone in the back yard. Thanks for nothing.

Sorry, never felt the need to look for that program, since AITM ver 2.0a is designed for FS9 and does everything I need. I guess it doesn't work for you, but if AI scehdule does what you need, great.scott s..

Hello all,What functions or features do you miss in AISchedule? As the author of AISchedule am I quite interested in understanding what could be changed or added.Best regards,Tomas RudhSwedenhttp://rudh.mine.nu/AISchedule>Hi,>>I find it quite limiting compared to the power of AITM.>>Take care,>-->Tom Gibson>>Cal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com>>Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com>>Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Rudhan, I think most here hadn't heard of your program. From looking at the screenshot it looks very interesting. I'm going to d/l it and I'll try it out when I get finished with another project I'm currently messing with.As for features, I think what many want is a way to make flight plans from scratch without to much trouble. To be able to start a new flightplan proiject inside the program, select a aircraft from a list of installed aircraft, select the starting and leg airports from a list of installed airports, have the program calculate times for them and then compile the traffic file without to much hassle. This is what many people are looking for but doesn't seem to exist. Most programs require a lot of work outside of them to get anything done, or require an existing flightplan to work with.

I believe AISchedule does most of what you want:>Rudhan, I think most here hadn't heard of your program. From looking at the screenshot it looks very interesting. Thanks to everyone who offered a reply.AI Schedule seems to be a much nicer product, and it's fully functional with FS9, a situation that does not exist with A.I.T.M.Don't even remember how I discovered AI Schedule but here's the link if anyoneelse would like to check it out:http://rudh.mine.nu/AISchedule/The author is a very pleasant fellow. Respondsto questions. He lives in Sweden. But be aware you'll need the newer Microsoft.NET version 2.0 to run AI Schedule. No big deal. .NET doesn't cost anything but timeto download. Considering what Microsoft chargesfor its products, I really enjoy those free downloads. Here's the link for .NET v 2.0http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=enThis allows you to download the complete package to your HD, and thenrun the installer offline. There is the usual option to install itas it downloads, but I never liked that, and don't have the link, as it is totally different. AI Schedule has seen dozens and dozens of updates, patches, fixes, improvements, etc. Don't know why it has remained hidden in thecloset, but I just thought I'd throw this out in case someoneis conducting a search. I would have thought the fellows at Abacus, or Flight One, or something similar would have developed a first class, payware program for AI flight plans, considering the fantastic popularitythat sprang up around the AI aspect of Flt Sim. That is why I originally posted, thinking that someone had such a product, but it never occurred to me to just call Abacus and ask them. They don'thave any such payware product, which is a huge surprise. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions.JoeD850Emv2 mobo500mb 800mc Rambus memGeForce graphics350w Enermax Whisper PS19" Samsung 950P mon.

Hi,Don't get me wrong, I think you have a great program here. I just can't find some things I need it to do for me that AITM can do. If you can tell me how to get them that would be great.1. I have over 80 airline flightplan files in separate folders that I need to keep separate (and with their original names), but I release to the public in one large traffic file. They all have the planes starting at #1. I need to keep them separate and easy to find because I hand edit or recompile (MRAI) the files individually sometimes. Thus I need a way to take 80 existing flightplan files and combine them into one quickly and easily. AITM's Project function does that for me.2. I haven't tried creating and printing a timetable for a given airport from only my 80 flightplan files (in #1) without any GA files included. Can I do that and will I have a concise list of each arrival and departure in the printout?3. How do I reorder this timetable list in airline order, flightplan order, etc. and then print it out?Thanks,--Tom GibsonCal Classic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.comFreeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.comDrop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___
