Very old aircraft for FS2002 usually don't work well in FS2004--certain animations fail. A good rule of thumb is if the aircraft supports reflective surfaces or dynamic shine, it should work in FS2004 with minimal or no tweaking. Oddly I still enjoy FS2002, especially at dawn and dusk. I took the USA Roads add-on and installed it in FS2002 and also did the same for Carenado's 182Q using a little utility called MDLC.-John

This was a question I was gong to ask also. So to be more specific, I have found a Stinson 108 model here at AVSIM for FS 2002. Has anyone tried this with FS 2004 or will I be the Guinea Pig?

I think in the time it takes to get a response, you can try it. Whatever happens, it won't mess up FS2004--animations might not display correctly (usually the prop), but at worst it would lock FS2004 and you can restart the sim.-John
