I use the PMDG and RFP payware panels, but the iFly B747 panel comes to mind in the freeware dept.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-V L-300Santiago de Chile

Im afraid that the iFly panel wont work because 747SP's had the gray panel steam gauge interface of the early 747's, since these first started rolling off the assembly line in 1976 or so. I dont have the RFP bird. Will keep hunting!Eric

I'm using it but everytime I load the plane the engines shut off and I'm not able to start it up using normal start-up procedures (APU, bleed, etc.) that works with other POSKY 747 classics. Any idea why? Thanks!

>Try adding the following line to the Aircraft.cfg FUEL>section:>>Center2 = 0.0, 0.0, -6.0, 50.0, 3.0 >>That should get them to run. >>Ed Green>KCLT>Hi Ed, thanks for the tip, it works like a charm. However I'm noticing I'm not getting any hydraulic pressure from engine 4 with the engines running. Looking at the cfg I found this line "engine_map=1,1,1,0". I assume changing the last number to 1 will give me hydraulic from engine 4?

Hi Ed,When you say "I actually went a different route in doing the merge.." do you mean that you started from the RFP aircraft.cfg (and airfile) and worked it backwards to the B747SP model?I am using the opposite approach but I am facing some issues. I wonder whether would be easier to start from the RFP aircraft.cfg.Thanks and Happy New Year!! Edmundo

Edmundo, if you want to post the particular issues that you're having, I'll try to help.Essentially what I did was to start with the RFP A/C and then add in the Posky Model and Textures. I suspect that the net result is an aircraft that looks like an SP, and flies like a -200, but I am not knowledgeable enough at this point to notice the difference. I probably am not through playing with it.Hope that helps a bit.Ed GreenKCLThttp://www.panelshop.com/Banners/DEV.jpg

Replacing that last 0 to a 1 worked in fixing the hydraulic issues. I was using the Ken Mitchell 747-200 Taped panel.Cheers
