Need a GA with good cockpit viz

Recommended Posts

Help. I've been doing some sight-seeing lately but many of my GA aircraft seem to be like looking through a straw out the cockpit. without resorting to 2d W key or spot view, is there anything out there with really good visability out the windows?scott s..

the planes made by Realair I guess. How about smaller Helicopters? Tiger moth...that's about all I can think of right now.Nothing like hitting the W key though as long as you are in some kind of a VC. But these planes should offer better view.

I do like sliding canopies for seeing "more" of the view!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/166057.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/166058.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/166059.jpg

Yep, the 260 offers an exceptional view, as does the Scout by RealAir. The Scout is very narrow (being a fore/aft two seater), high wing, and has a glass canopy, so for a non-'bubble top' aircraft it is one of my favorites for sight seeing. In addition, the Eaglesoft Liberty offers almost as good of a view as the 260.

There's a great freeware Maule Orion available. Nice flyer, nice VC, and very good visibility. Comes with skis, tundra tires, and floats.Sorry, can't remember the site name where I got it. Maybe someone here knows. I'll keep looking.**Oh ya, Bill Lyons freeware Piper Cubs are really nice and great for low & slow.

The digital aviation do-27 is the most detailed simulation for fs to this day, and it has great cockpit visibility due to the large cockpit windows.

If you like low and slow, this rework of Eric Dante's Stampe is a true freeware classic:stampe_classic_v1.1.zipThere are also a few repaints.
