Lol, it's exactly like WOW. Nothing at stake in the real world. Pixels on your screen. It's about fun, not whether airbus is "better" than boeing.Well yes it should not be about weather or not boeing is better than airbus, I hate a really excited user, as a consumer the company who makes the better product is the one to use, unless they do something really disgraceful. But come on, its nothing like wow. With fs we mimmick real world procedures, many of us like myself use fs to stay current on our real world flying or to practice an approach before we try it out in a situation where if we mess we CAN die. ;)

The thought of "w6kd" genuinely being a real pilot, where lives are in his hands.. is actually quite worrying.

>The thought of "w6kd" genuinely being a real pilot, where>lives are in his hands.. is actually quite worrying.Ah, I see, because I've insulted your tender airbus sensibilities, now you believe you know something about my flying ability? Shucky darn, now my feelings are hurt. OK, well, maybe not...You'd be pretty surprised, I think, at who I've had seated safely in the cabin whilst plying my trade as a pilot.CheersBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile

I was looking forward to your highly defensive response..I'm sorry.. at what point did I comment on your flying ability and at what point did I mention I preferred Airbus? Perhaps you better re-read my comment.. the entire sentence this time.I was commenting on your severe lack of tact and respect which I would have thought was pretty important in being a professional pilot.I'm afraid at the moment you're coming off as a baby digging a big hole. But I guess you're above everyone else here so it doesn't really matter.

Bob:Brilliant post. A few folks here might benefit from having a thicker skin. Although I'll count myself as one of those eagerly awaiting the AXP releases, I appreciate your well-placed skepticism. I'm just very curious to see if these developers, who I admire and respect, can deliver on these "promises in the dark," so-called. But, as always, the proof is in the product.Dennis

Good post Bob:-) What people don't realize,Is that A Bus will never last as long as a Boeing,Because of its bonded lap skin joints and corrosion issues.A 17 year old bus was scrapped because of this.As far as purchasing add ons I always let the impatient test for me :-)

Great post Bob.The only glued plastic planes I like comes from Airfix or Revell. Not from Airbus. Good post Bob, Its good to be smart. I, like most people am eagerly awaiting the release of this plane and I do think it will be spectacular in many many ways. It is good not have the blind ignorance to act purely on initial emotion and excitement and loose all concept of prudence, like some other people do, not just with airxp but with flightsim and the world in general.
