Featured Replies

To all:I FINALLY found the fix for my problem...after many, many attempts. It WAS getting the correct HALO.BMP file to use in the FS9 Texture folder. The stock one and 6 others (from various authors) that I downloaded from the AVSIM library did not appear realistic in my sim, using the expanded view over 3 monitors (via Matrox TripleHead2Go). I had also tried to use one from another downloaded file, but couldn't open that file it as it was showing as being "corrupted." (apparently during the downloading?)Last night, I searched another site's library and found that same file (by Brian Neitzel), downloaded and installed it, and "voila" the lights on the runways, strobes, taxiways AND the Ultimate Terrain elevated lights on the major roads appeared crisp, smaller and MUCH TO MY SATISFACTION.So...it wasn't the FS9.cfg file after all.....Thanks to those who tried to help with troubleshooting this.Mike

What's the file name?JimCYWG

Hi Jim,It is (aht5.zip) by Brian Neitzel. For some reason, after I downloaded it from the Avsim library and tried to open it...I couldn't. (tried several downloads) Finally, I had to find it at Flightsim.com and it opened just fine???R/Mike
