skin related question on the wilco airbus

Featured Replies

I just downloaded the skin pack, but it installs everything into aircraft/a320pic folder, which doesnt exist! every type has its own aircraft folder, so I have no clue why they did it like this... I would move everything manually but not sure where they go...any help please? :(also I'd like to make a turkish airlines skin, where can I find a base skin pack if there is one?:)

you can put liveries in any location as long as you direct FS to the proper place throught the aircraft.cfg file.in practice aircraft paints are placed with the referring aircraft.cfg.using the 737-300 as an example -the main folder for all 737-300s is: Flight Simulator 9AircraftfeelThere pic 737-300in here are the model, panel, sound and texture folders. in my case:Texturetexture.americawesttexture.continentalairlinestexture.deltaairlinestexture.easyjettexture.southwestairlinestexture.unitedairlinestexture.usairwaystexture.usncthe aircraft cfg has the necessary references for each paint:[fltsim.0]title=FeelThere Boeing 737-300 Housesim=B737-3A00Amodel=panel=sound=texture=visual_damage=1kb_checklists=kb_reference=atc_id=N327SWatc_airline=BOEINGatc_flight_number=1123ui_manufacturer=Boeing - feelThere/Wilcoui_type=737-300ui_variation=Boeing Housedescription=737-300 Pilot in CommandnDeveloped by www.feelThere.com nPublished by Wilco Publishing www.wilcopub.com nnSupport at www.feelthere.com - www.wilcopub.com nPlease set general realism slider to maximum.one of the above for each livery. the following fields are different for each livery:[fltsim.1] (increases for each livery added)title=FeelThere Boeing 737-300 America West (description of the livery)texture=americawest (the referring folder for the livery, so continental airlines is [fltsim.2])atc_id=N166AW (the aircraft's reg number)atc_airline=CACTUS (the airline's callsign)atc_flight_number=1123 (yep, the flight number)ui_variation=America West (used by FS in showing aircraft subtypes in 'select aircraft' screen)== == == == == == == == == == == ==boeing 737-300s fields from the full example for 'boeing house' not mentioned in the 'america west' example must be present and the same as 'boeing house'. ex:sim=B737-3A00Amodel=panel=sound=etc...== == == == == == == == == == == ==--
