FS2002 General Mitchell Int'l Scenery?

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,Just wanted to know if anyone has any links to Milwaukee's General Mitchell Airport scenery for FS2002. I'm flying Midwest Express in and out of there and any scenery help would great. I know there is an FS2000 version, but I don't know the flatten code. If anyone can help me in either way that would be great, thanks!Eric

Eric,I tried Shez's FS2000 Milwaukee scenery on my computer, and it's of very high quality. I'm not aware of any flatten switch that's needed (but that's not to say that one doesn't exist). The only issue I had with it was that it would stutter whenever you'd look at the rotunda on the end of...concourse E, is it? Just a minor issue, really, and I'm just guessing that there's some object in that vicinity that my computer doesn't like...Overall, it's the high quality stuff we've come to expect from Shez!Matt

I actually think that Steve Gonwa's version of General Mitchell International Airport is the better scenery. I live in southern Wisconsin and fly out of KMKE very frequently so I know its a very accurate representation of the airport. I had started a detailed AFCAD file for KMKE and when I checked the scenery against the Jepp chart it was extremely accurate. Since it was completed in 2001, it has everything except the new parking garages. I e-mailed him a few weeks ago and he told me he was working on an update for the scenery. You can find it here: http://ftp.avsim.com/library/sendfile.php?DLID=10711
