anyway to turn off auto refueling?

Recommended Posts

just wondering if there is any utility that will turn off the automatic refueling of your aircraft when you get close to a fuel pump at an airport..I would live to be able to pull up to one and then just add in the fuel through the menu - instead of it filling me up 100%thanksciao!Brian S

Hi,Apologies but couldn't resist....Don't go near the pumps if you don't want fuel; but if it does fill 'er up, the fuel and payload option are there in the drop-down menu.Andyedit: you know this as well as I do! and I don't know of a utility either!

no- no uh.. are you saying that if it does fill me up to 100% i can adjust it "down" to whatever level i want?? and IT WILL STAY THAT WAY?i was under the impression no matter what you do to the fuel dialog box from the menu, if your close to the fuel pumps it will fill you up 100% when you taxi off.. maybe im wrong here, well i need to experiement and see..thanksciao!Brian S

I have the following line in my FSUIPC.ini file.StopAutoFuel=YesI assume it works with any newer version of FSUIPC, and I don't think you need the payed version to get it, but my is payed for, so I can't say for sure.

It's typical to have to wait a bit, with brakes applied, before any fuel is add to the tanks. The fuel stations, which have the letter "F" painted on the tarmac, are the ones you need to stay away from. If you over-fill, just make adjustments to the Payload/Fuel option.Part of the secret of success in life is to eat what you like -M.Twain

Hi Brian,I don't know if you stayed close to the pumps and altered the fuel amount after it had filled you up, it would stay that way. I would imagine you would need to taxi away to a quiet corner and syphon off the excess fuel via the menu!Andy.
