Recommended Posts

Here is the official SIRP Fixes, Issues, and Troubleshooting" web page. http://www.edtruthan.com/sirpfixes Current and future updates or fixes and the like will be posted there. There's a few up right now: -Mesh Problem at SIRP Depot -Twin Windsocks at TFG3 -Greyed Out Oil Drums -Missing Hanger Texture at TFG2 Thanks to everyone who's reported the minor issues they've noticed in SIRP. We could not issue a general fix for things we had not experienced ourselves if not for your posts, so thank you. Systems are different and it helps keep on top of things.

Solved! If you are experiencing "Blurry" textures at and around PAPG Petersburg Airport and the SIRP Depot, we've traced the problem to one small un-mipped texture from a 3rd party EZ library: "ez-vintage_hangers_ss_v3.2.zip". The EZ BGL is "ez-vintage hangers.bgl". The offending texture is named "zinc.bmp" from the textures that go with that library. (It adds trim to the main hanger at the Depot and for some reason was stopping the textures around PAPG from sharpening). Here's the single bitmap you need: http://www.edtruthan.com/sirpfixes/zinc.zip Download this zip, and place the single texture within it in the EZ Library "Texture" folder of the location where the above BGL resides, NOT in the SIRP Depot texture folder. The BGL may have duplicates on your system so make sure and overwrite all the "zinc.bmp" instances associated with any "ez-vintage hangers.bgl" EZ file on your system. A few other SIRP fixes and issues are discussed at http://www.edtruthan.com/sirpfixes Again, thanks to all the users who reported on and tested this problem._________________"We shall begin in exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to return to the place where we started and know it for the first time." -T.S.
