Thanks guys. Would any of you care to share how to resize an image to fit the 150 kb requirement of the screen shot forum. Some of the images there are large and still show great quality. Any time I resize an image to meet the 150 kb requirement it looks terrible. Thanks,Scott

I'm afraid the best by far is Photoshop as you can select the amount of jpg compression to fit the 150kb requirement. (so I can use 1024x768 regularly)But before I had Photoshop I used Paint Shop Pro ....with PSP I had to be a bit more careful and found the 800x600 pixels the best size.Even with Photoshop if you take pics of panels of cities you will find 800x600 best if you want to try and keep the quality.

Ed,Thank you for the advice. I have long been a fan of both your screen shots and repaints. Excellent work sir. Thanks, Scott

This is a good point, even with Photoshop, I still have quite a bit of difficulty getting my pictures under the limit without simply sizing them way down. If I leave the pics at 1024 resolution the quality goes down too much when I save them down in compression. I use Snapshooter 2007 and use a file size of 750 x 600 (or whatever fits your monitor default resolution). That gives a fairly decent sized image without pushing the limits of the file size too far. I still need to edit them in Photoshop and bring the compression down a bit.
