Glacier Bay problem

Recommended Posts

For some reason I can't register at the GB'S forum, so Holgar I hope you browes this forum. Trouble is that I cannot start a flight from inside the GB's area. When I try to start a flight at Skagway the sim starts to load then the dereaded "MSFS needs to close" window pops up and that's it. CTD. I can startup at Whitehoures but not inside GB. Any ideas?Dave FisherCYYZP4 Prescott 3.2e 478p 800mhz 1mg CPUP4P800SE Asus Motherboard2.5 gig PC3200 DDR RAM 400MHZGeForce 7600GT/512 OC'dMaxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HD x2WDC WD800 80 Gig HDAntec 500watt true powerSharp 19 inch LCD MonitorLogitech Extreme 3D pro Joystickhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpghttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg

Hi Dave,so none of the included flight situations work? Also, what about different seasons or night flights? And at what loading percantage does the crash happen? The typical cause, if the crashes happen between ~30-60% is a missing or faulty default texture. There are some textures used by Glacier Bay that aren't normally used by the default scenery even though they are default textures. With the proliferation of texture replacements that change or remove textures in the generic texture folder it can happen that textures go missing and need to be restored.Anyway, let's start with answers to my initial questions.Cheers, HolgerP.S.: What's the issue with the registration? Difficulties in reading the code or something else? Perhaps we can help you get in.

Thanks, Holger, for this great FREE scenery package One must have the FS9.1 patch installed for FS9 to handle multiple-textures and once the fs9.cfg file is corrupted it must be deleted. fs9.CFG is located here:C:Documents and SettingsusernameApplication DataMicrosoftFS9FS9.CFGIt is a Hidden Filemy two-sense worth

I''ve found the problem Holger, I had an old version buried deep in the scenery library. I've gotta say a big thank's this scenery is outstanding, especially the Skagway and Juneau areas. Now I can dust off my Porter and Stationair for some mountain flying.Dave FisherCYYZP4 Prescott 3.2e 478p 800mhz 1mg CPUP4P800SE Asus Motherboard2.5 gig PC3200 DDR RAM 400MHZGeForce 7600GT/512 OC'dMaxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HD x2WDC WD800 80 Gig HDAntec 500watt true powerSharp 19 inch LCD MonitorLogitech Extreme 3D pro Joystickhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/ng_driver.jpghttp://fs2crew.com/linepilot.jpg
