Progressive taxi

Recommended Posts

I wanted to edit the progressive taxi lines - make them a bit lessgarish; I seem to remember that this is possible, but I can't seewhere the bmp file is stored to edit it. Anyone know where it islocated? (Or maybe my memory is playing me false and it's notactually a bmp texture file I need to edit???).Thanks,Martin

not possible...I personally have brought this subject up over the years with no luck at all. I do find it interesting that in light of all the deep hacking done to this build (FS9), that this single item can not be adjusted.amazing, to me at least.

Martin, AFAIK its not a bmp, but its hardcoded somewhere so there's nothing you can do about it.hmmm... not sure I can fully agree with "deep hacking". The only hacks of HARDCODED properties I can think of are the taxi speed and the friction coefficient...of which only the former has practical use - or am I missing out on something?

Well, it's only a cosmetic thing, so I won't lose any sleep over it. The more I thought about it, the more it seemed unlikely that the file was a bmp and I'm not surprised that it is hardcoded in the end. My memory about this was clearly letting me down..Thanks for the replies!M. :-)
