Kelowna ILS

Recommended Posts

I have just installed Dave Hazell's missing NavAid and ILS file to add the ILS to Kelowna. And although it shows the file where it is supposed be, I cannot pick up the ILS in ANY aircraft. I get the localizer still as always, but there is still no ILS. And no Westbank NDB etc.If anyone could help me with this or lend any thoughts, that would be great.Thank you in advance.Darryl Rott

Try freq. 111.3. The NDB for the ILS 16 is freq. 257 (LW)

Thanks for your idea sabresix. I actually tried that since that is the frequency in the CAP, but the glideslope was still dead. However, I did stumble across the fix and thought I would post it in case anyone else needs the direction in the future. Lo and behold, once I updated my FSNav Database, then it recognized the updated ILS frequency.Voila, I had both localiser, AND glideslope. So there ya go. A reminder that anytime I add anything of that nature, I should also update the FSNAV database.Darryl
