Captain Sim 757 finally complete?

Recommended Posts

What do you guys think? Their front page says block f is now in beta testing. They say that F is the advanced system modeling, so I guess that is the FMC?Maybe its finally complete? Add up the prices of all the blocks you have to purchase to have a complete package and whats your grand total? lol...

All bug reports forwarded to our development team. We'll make an announcement as soon as the Block F goes Beta 2."Of course, this was 3 weeks after they said it would be done. Then, back on July 7th (2 months later), after many concerns from customers that they once again posting nothing about how they were doing, they announced:"Just a short progress report: The 757 Block F development is going well (probably not as fast as expected). We'll make an announcement as soon as the Block F goes Beta 2. This means that even after over 2 months of no progress, the program has not even entered beta 2 yet. So, I'd say that it's not even close to being complete. Of course, we'll never know by visiting their forum and asking for a real update, like screenshots of a working system, because those types of posts either get deleted or ignored.Ask again here in about 6 months, maybe they will be in beta 3 by then. :-lolOh, and as for the total price of this plane that will wind up taking them well over 2 years and 2 versions of FS to complete? I'm thinking close to $100, because I'm sure they will be asking anywhere from $35-50 for the Blocks D/F alone. :-roll

Hmmmm... slowly raises hand. I bought the 727 for $13.00 USD. And it is worth $13. :) I would have recommended the C130 to anyone for 9.99E. I had always enjoyed flying that series;even with a number of inconsistency etc. But 9.99E is my limit with them. :)Bob..

If "complete" means "complete" in the same sense as the 727 and the 707, well, then release of block whatever should put them about halfway there, and previous experience tells us that they'll then abandon it at that point and move on to fleecing people with Block A of the next half-a$$ project.RegardsBob ScottATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VSantiago de Chile
