ATC runway selection for AI aircraft

ATC runway selection for AI aircraftCan anyone tell me how ATC selects the runway it assigns AI aircraft?I have noticed that ATC always lands the same aircraft on the same runway.I have tried switching the flight numbers between two aircraft that land on different runways but the aircraft still land on the same runway. I just cannot figure out what criteria ATC uses in assigning runways to AI aircraft.

simple answer:#1 criteria is closest rwy to the wind direction with ILS.#2 criteria is closest rwy to the wind--

Hi,If you are talking about all of the runways, it's based on the wind as described above.If there are parallel runways, they are vectored to the runway that is closest to their departure point (i.e. if they are coming from the north they are vectored to the north runway). Tom,Thank you for answering my question. After reading your reply I understand why some planes would only land on the left runway and others would only land on the right runway. Both of the runways run north to south and are of equal length.As it turns out, all the arrivals coming from east of my airport land on the right runway and all the arrivals from west of my airport land on the left runway,Thank you again for clearing that up for me.Ed Greenfield
