Keyboard/Mouse not working

Recommended Posts

Guest

I just replaced my dated DFI AK76-SN with an ASUS A7V8X. Everything went fine, but the mouse and keyboard don't work in Windows. Since I can use the keyboard when booting to DOS, I say the problem is within Windows.Any help will be very appreciated. Thank you,Marcelo.

A wild guess, but in the BIOS see how legacy keyboard/mouse support is set and change the setting. You also do not state your Win version so post it please.Have you tried safe mode?

Thank you, but I just formated my HD. Replacing mobo is a radical thing to do to your system.Everything is cool now. Can't wait to OC my T-Bird.Best,Marcelo.
