Hey all,I have a Pentium D 3.2 Ghz 800FSB, Nvidia Geforce 6200 256MB DDR2, 2GB DDR2 533, 250GB SATA HD, XP Home system. This runs FS9 just fine. However, I'm thinking of upgrading to Vista home basic, will FS9 continue to run ok on that?How will FSX run on this system?Thanks a lot!Phil

Vista & FS9Do you really need Vista? It wil consume more resources then XP Home so F9 wil run slower then it does now (provided you kept the XP install clean and defragged).FSX?We have a seperate forum for that. You could try the demo as an indication of how well it runs for you.My personal experience with FS-X on a AMD X2 4400+, ATI800XL 256 MB, 2 GB RAM and 2 Western Digital SATA Raptor 74GB is that it doesn't run good enough for me. But its a very personal thing.
